Paula Jean Greb Adney, 56 year old Muskogee resident, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Muskogee. She was born on Wednesday, October 7, 1953 in Muskogee to Leon and Maudie Dill Greb. Paula grew up in the Keefeton/Warner area where she received her education, graduating from Warner High School in 1971. She attended Connors State College and Northeastern State University. Paula met, fell in love and married Bill Adney on Sunday, July 6, 1975 in McClain. She traveled with Bill while he was working construction. They moved back to Muskogee in 1976 and she went to work at Economy Pharmacy as a clerk. She was a member of the Oktaha Methodist Church, and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola and M&M; memorabilia. She loved taking care of her parents, husband and spending time with her nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her mom Maudie Pearl Greb, on Tuesday, February 10, 2009; & maternal & paternal grandparents. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Bill of the home; Dad, Leon Greb & Brother, Paul Leon Greb, Jr. and his wife Kathy all of Warner; special sister, Betty Cotner; three brothers-in-law, Leslie Adney and his wife Maudie, Hairl Adney and his wife Audrey, Terry Adney and his wife Teresa; one sister-in-law, Lou Villers and her husband Dave; nine nieces, Brandy Paquett Greb, Sandra Marie Yarbrough, Jennifer Gray and her husband Ryan, Amanda Charvat and her husband Cord, Lisa Adney, Mary Wood, Jessica Shiflet and her husband Stanley, Tiffany Adney, Tracy Adney; six nephews, Jason Adney, Mack Adney, Christopher Adney and his wife Heather, Darrel Adney, Tyler Adney, & Coby Wood and his wife Stephanie; and 7 great nieces & nephews, Jordan Adney, Journey Adney, Andrew Adney, Megan Wood Hogle, Hayden Wood, Brenna Shiflet & one very special niece, Shelby Yarbrough, other extended family and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be 9:30 AM Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Keefeton Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Cordell Coppin, officiating. Committal prayers and Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Checotah, with Hairl Adney, Leslie Adney, Terry Adney, Larry Hendrix, Larry Barnes, Michael Huskey, Mike Morris, and Wayne Slape serving as Casket Bearers.
