Larry Campbell, 64 of Eufaula passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 at his home. Larry was born on July 11, 1945, in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Maurice Elvin and Betty (Wilson) Campbell. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and later attended Oklahoma State University. On November 26, 1993, Larry married Connie Lou Gunnells in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his wife Connie; daughter Melanie Lierle and husband Joe; daughter Stephanie Bradley and husband Jeff; sons Jeff and Chris Campbell; and daughter Ashley Campbell and son Christopher Childs. Larry worked for many years in the material handling business, both in Tulsa and Arkansas. From his teenage years, he was instrumental in building his family’s business Campbell Wholesale, which he retired from in 2005. He loved sailing and antique cars. Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, and 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory of Eufaula.
