Funeral services for Brooklyn Marie Warford, age 6, of Pryor, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Pryor. Pastor Darian Rains will officiate. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stephens Memorial Chapel.
Our Beloved Little Princess Brooklyn was born on May 20, 2003 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Clif and Tawnda (Hollowell) Warford. She departed this life on October 23, 2009, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Brooklyn had lived most of her life in Pryor. She attended Kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary School and was a member of Your Place Church where she enjoyed worshiping Jesus and singing Jesus songs, she also enjoyed composing songs. Brooklyn loved singing and dancing. She also enjoyed cheering for her brother’s sports team, helping Mommy organize and clean house and working on her art projects.
Brooklyn is survived by her parents, Clif and Tawnda Warford of Pryor, one brother Christian and one sister Ashtyn both of the home. Grandparents, Jack and Darlene Gwartney of Claremore and Joe and Millie Cook of Ft. Gibson, Great Grandmother Barbara Pollard of Miami, Oklahoma. Four uncles, Charles Bryant and wife Carla of Tulsa, Chad Warford of Tahlequah, Kris Gwartney of Strang, Jim Gwartney and wife Amanda of Rogers, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Brooklyn was preceded in death by her Grandfathers Lincoln Warford and Troy Hollowell, Great Grandparents, Bill and Ruby Broxson, Great Grandfather Carl Pollard and Aunt Darlene Hollowell.
The family will receive friends at Stephens Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Flowers are welcomed, and a memorial in Brooklyn’s honor is established at Red Crown Credit Union in Pryor.
