Thomas L. Crossland was born October 27, 1924 in Muskogee, OK to Jess and Gertrude (Weaver) Crossland, and he went to heaven to be with the love of his life, Virginia M. (Hensley) Crossland on Thursday, June 25, 2009. Thomas and Virginia were married in 1946. He loved his country and served in the Navy and then went on to work for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union from which he retired.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Crossland; daughter, Nedra L. Comstock; his brother, Kenneth Crossland; and sister, Betty Sloan.
Thomas is survived by two sons, Mark and wife Mary Crossland, and Gary and wife Cheryl Crossland; daughter, Carol and husband Ken Claney; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Crossland; and sister, Elda Mae Royse.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Crossland, Nick Crossland, Kyle Claney, Barton Comstock, Erich Crossland, and Hunter Godwin.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Muskogee, OK with Pastor Danny Gandara officiating.
