Funeral services for Sybil Shiew, 89, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Greenhill Cemetery with Sergeant Spaulding officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
Sybil was born November 12, 1920 at Keefeton, OK, the daughter of William and Bertha E. (Smith) Jestice and died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Muskogee. On July 7, 1940 she married Bert Clyde Shiew in Pryor, OK. She was a homemaker and member of The Salvation Army Church.
Survivors include six sons, Claude of Warrensburg, MO, John, twins Wayne and DeWayne, Jimmy and Leonard all of Muskogee; three daughters, Sharon Perry of Muskogee, Betty Touchette of Tulsa and Judy Thompson of Muskogee; three brothers, Jim Jestice, David Jestice and Billy Jack Jestice all of Muskogee; one sister, Doris Seabolt of Fort Gibson; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one on the way; eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert in 1998; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
