Minnie Neisler

1924 - 2009

Funeral services for Minnie Neisler, 84, of Muskogee will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Wasson officiating. Honorary pallbearers are men of Shiloh Baptist Church. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

Minnie Neisler was born July 12, 1924 in Marble City, OK, the daughter of Joseph and Essie (Mitchell) Anderson and died June 29, 2009 in Muskogee. She graduated from Sallisaw High School. In 1941 she married Harvey Neisler in Sallisaw, OK. She worked for Brockway Glass. Minnie was a member of Timothy Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harvey, five brothers, Herbert, Jim, Joe, Wendell and Rex Anderson.

Survivors include sons, Boyd Neisler and wife, Karen of Muskogee, OK, Ricky Neisler of Muskogee, OK; daughter, Donna Harrington and husband, Barry of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters, Ruby Coble of Ft. Bragg, CA, Dora Yocum of Hanford, CA: four grandchildren, Matthew Simon, Lonnie Smithling, Maj. Kevin Boyd Neisler and SFC Brad Neisler; seven great-grandchildren, Eric and Emily Simon, Kristen and Michael Neisler, Elijah, Isaiah and Adalena Neisler.
