Betty Lucretia Nail

1935 - 2013

— Funeral services for Betty Lucretia Nail, 78, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Gibson with Reverend Danny Gandara officiating. Services are under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.

Betty was born January 28, 1935 at Manard, OK, the daughter of Willie and Gussie Maude (Church) Smith and died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Muskogee. On February 13, 1951 she married Ray Nail in Van Buren, AR. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children, Bill Nail and wife, Brenda, of Fort Gibson, Glenda Fausett and husband, Bill, of Muskogee, Tonja Beatty of Fort Gibson; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Smith and Kenneth Smith both of Fort Gibson; six sisters, Ruth O’dell of Muskogee, Mary Ballard of Fort Gibson, Iva Morton of Muskogee, Thelma Harris of Fort Gibson, Velma Crittenden of Fort Gibson, and Sandra Conn of Muskogee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray in 2005; one son, Jackie in 1991; two brothers, Hershall Smith and David Smith; and one great-grandchild, Macie.
