Margaret Florence Falwell Waid

1926-2013

— Margaret Florence Falwell Waid, 86, loving wife, mother and homemaker, left this earth to be with her Lord on February 23, 2013 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  She was born in Gore, OK on March 12, 1926 to William and Christal (Eubanks) Todd.  She married Billie O. Falwell on June 22, 1944 in Muskogee. They were married for 34 years when he went to his Maker. Later she married Clyde Waid, he passed some years later.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy C. Falwell and her parents.

She was a long time member of Chandler Road Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Irven Falwell and wife, Nola;  two daughters, Carol Carroll and husband, Ralph of Jacksonville, FL and Margaret Russell and husband, Dale of Muskogee, OK; her brother, Henry Todd of Muskogee, OK; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great, great, grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a lot of friends.

A memorial service honoring the life of Florence will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Donnie Branscum, minister of Chandler Church of Christ presiding.

Funeral services are under the direction of Bradley Funeral Home of Muskogee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Good Neighbor Hospice, 1122 N. Main St. Suite B, Muskogee, OK 74403, in Florence Waid’s name.
