On December 9, 2012 God called Barbara Faye Torix, 63, home.
Her parents were Francis Upton (father, and (step father) Rex Baker, mother, Betty (Jacobs) Baker of Muskogee.
Mrs. Torix was born on February 2, 1949 in Talihina, OK, and attended Carlsbad High Carslbad, NM. Mrs. Torix worked numerous places and had many supervisor positions.
Mrs. Torix is survived by her husband, Rick Torix of the home, and three step sons, Glen and wife, Alice, Ronnie and Larry, one grandsons, Clinton. Her mother, Betty Baker, three brothers, Rickey Upton, Freddie Upton and Russell Baker and wife, Lana Baker. Numerous nieces, nephews and several cousins.
Memorial services will be held December 22 at 1 p.m. at the Muskogee Indian Community Building, 335 N. 4th & Denison in Muskogee. Rev. Johnny Gardner will be officiating.
