Memorial services for Ricky Wayne Gaches, 53, of Anchorage, Alaska will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m. with brother Joe Carl Wolf officiating.
Ricky Wayne Gaches was born November 17, 1959 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Farris Edwin Gaches and Mary Ann (Burgess) Gaches and departed this life on November 27, 2012 at the age of 53 years and 9 days.
Rick was a heavy equipment operator in Alaska for many years but Rick’s passion was spending time with his wife, Dana, and children in Alaska, as well as his family in Oklahoma. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Everyone who knew Rick would agree that he had a most special laugh that was contagious to all. Rick was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Stilwell.
Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Pearl Gaches and Frank and Goldie Thurber, his mother Mary Ann (Burgess) Gaches and two brothers, Darrell Edwin and William Boyd Gaches.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Farris and Shirley Gaches, his wife, Dana (Hodge) Gaches of the home, two daughters, Payton Mallory, Faith Gaches and Paisley Madyson, Grace Gaches also of the home, three sons, Micah Gabriel Gaches of the home, Jeffery Brian Ward and wife, Cathy of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Jeremy Wayne Gaches of Mannford, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Addiston and Ayva Elk of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Cheyenne Riley, Jason Estep and Laramie Ward all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. One sister, Kathy Ann Sellers of Braggs, Oklahoma, one half brother, Tracy Hoover and wife, Shelley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one stepsister, Rhonda Smith of Jay, Oklahoma, two stepbrothers, Darrell Hudson of Jay, Oklahoma and Keith Hudson and wife, Shannon of Bristow, Oklahoma. Several nieces and nephews, along with many, many friends and loved ones.
