Paul Majors

1930-2013

— Paul Majors, 82, passed away peacefully January 5, 2013.

Paul, a Muskogee resident, was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma on December 8, 1930. Paul, the oldest of eleven children, was the first born son of Grace Pearl Allison and Forrest Majors.

Paul served his country during the Korean Conflict and was a decorated army veteran having earned six medals during his service. He had a heart of gold and had an outgoing personality, which served him well throughout his profession of sales. Paul was of Baptist faith, a member of the Cherokee Nation and loved all things Western – a cowboy at heart.

Funeral services for Paul Majors will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Chaplain Forrest Kirk officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral in Muskogee.

Survivors include Paul’s daughters, Cindy Wiese and husband, Paul of Pensacola, Florida and Connie Wynne of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren Trinity Ellis and Christopher, Jared and Eric Wynne; great grandchildren Sadie and Tyler Ellis; brothers, Robert Lee Majors and Sam of Wagoner, Donald Majors and Shirley of Pensacola, Oscar Majors and Laurie of Edmond, Sidney Majors and Terry Majors both of Muskogee; sisters, Barbara Stiger and David of Muskogee, Shirley Nicholson and Jerry of Idabel, Linda Moore and David of Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Forrest Majors; two brothers, Gene Autry Majors and Everett Majors.

Paul was a loving father and grandfather. We will miss him.
