Loretta Benson

1936-2012

Services for Loretta Benson, 76 of Muskogee will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Reverend Wendell Cox officiating. Arrangements are under the Direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee.

Loretta Benson was born March 4, 1936 in Webbers Falls, OK the daughter of William and Marbie (Wyatt) Dillon and died November 5, 2012 in Muskogee. Loretta graduated from Warner High School. She married Jimmie N. Benson February 1, 1958 in Boynton, OK. She has been a Muskogee resident since 1978. She was a surgical technician. Loretta was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church. She loved doing arts and crafts.

Her parents and two brothers, Gayle and Charlie (CF) preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie D. Benson of the home in Muskogee; sisters, Lilly Smith and husband, Luther of Muskogee, OK, Diana Dillon of Muskogee, OK; brothers, Charlie Dillon of Muskogee, OK, William Ford Dillon and wife, Janice of Keefeton, OK, Mark Dillon and wife, Terry of Fort Gibson, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.
