Arlie McWilliams

1941 - 2013

— Arlie McWilliams, 72, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates Saturday, March 16, 2013.  He was born January 7, 1941 in Maud, Oklahoma to A.F. McWilliams and Betty C. Puckett McWilliams.  Arlie met the love of his life, Patty Janice Vinson, and they were wed on April 25, 1959 in St. Louis, MO. They would have celebrated 54 years of marriage next month.

 Arlie was owner of Custom Screen Printing from which he retired in 1999.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, sports, playing the guitar and making music, and mowing the yard. Arlie loved the Lord and was an active member of Church 4:18.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. A.F. and Betty McWilliams.

Arlie is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home; his daughters, Jada McWilliams of Muskogee, Janece Jones and husband Kevin, all of Muskogee, Debbie Wiseman and husband, David of Anderson, SC; his son, Jeff McWilliams, of Muskogee; his sisters, Carol Snellenberger and husband, Cletus of Branson, MO, Janice Clark and husband, Charles of Union City, TN, Judy Willett and husband, James of Bad Axe, MI; his brother, James McWilliams and wife, Eva of Winfield, MO; his grandchildren, Scott Adams and wife Diana of Anna, IL, Joe Jones and wife Emily of Cincinnati, OH, Kelton Wiseman, Karston Wiseman, and Jadyn Jones; his great grandchild, Max; and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Arlie will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Church 4:18, 2710 S. Cherokee Dr., Muskogee, OK.  Rev. David Wiseman will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Scott Adams, Paul Vinson, Joe Jones, Kerry Vinson, Kelton Wiseman, and Mel Arnhart serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Karston Wiseman and Jadyn Jones.  

 Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
