Annalene Stacey

1927-2012

— Annalene Stacey, 84, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, Seotenber 16, 2012 at Eastgate Village Healthcare Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Annalene was born on September 20, 1927 in Tannehill, Oklahoma to James and Alta Mae (Jay) Jones.  She grew up as a farm girl and enjoyed outdoor activities, gardening and yard work.  She married Alvie William Stacey on February 7, 1946 in McAlester.  She lived in Ashland for 40 years and contributed 27 years to the Kiowa Headstart program.  She was a member of the Ashland Baptist Church and often sang with the church group at revivals and Brush Arbors in the surrounding area.

She is survived by 2 Daughters and 1 Son-in-law: Wilma Jean Stacey of Valliant, OK; Brenda and Stan Fullwood of Arvada, CO. 5 Sons and 4 Daughters-in-law:  Bill and Mary Stacey of Ft. Gibson, OK;  Leon and Stacy Stacey of Tifton, GA; Troy and Gayle Stacey of McAlester;  James Stacey of Ft. Gibson, OK;  Roger and Melody Stacey of Ft. Gibson, OK. 15 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Clifford Jones of Sherman, TX; 1 Sister: Louise Whatley of Marietta, OK and Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alta Mae (Jay) Jones; husband, Alvie William Stacey; 4 brothers, Everett, James, Orville and Herbert Jones; sisters, Lula Logan, Helen Scott and infant sister, Martha Jones.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Savanna Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Stacey, Mark Stacey, Matthew Stacey, Eric Stacey, Cameron Stacey, and Dennis Farley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Keith Jones, Daniel Jones, Randolph Scott, Jimmy Scott, Terry Scott, and Ray Adams.

Funeral arrangement are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester, Oklahoma.
