Devin Ray Moore

1967 - 2012

Devin Ray Moore was born May 5, 1967 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Gary A. and Paulette (Peachee) Moore.  He attended grade school in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1985.  After graduation Devin enrolled in classes at Okmulgee Tech and graduated in 1987 and began working for Coburn Optical.  He later attended Tulsa Welding School and has worked as a welder since that time except for a year at Office Depot.  As a child Devin was a hard worker at mowing lawns and at Dairy Land.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and also a member of Southeast Baptist Church.

The family requests memorials be made to the Southeast Baptist Church building fund.

Devin was preceded in death in 1993 by his mother, Paulette and both sets of grandparents; and his step brother, Jerry West.

He is survived by his daughter, Alaina Moore; his father and step-mother, Gary and Peggy Moore; his sister, Lesa Hunter and husband Brian; nephews, Jonathan Hunter and Jeramy Hunter; his step-sister, Julie Tucker and husband Jack; special friend, Herbert Jestice; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Southeast Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Miller officiating with Rev. Gene Sanders assisting.  Interment will follow at Agnew Cemetery with Larry Ray Moore, Jonathan Hunter, Darrel Fuller, Bobby Dean Lee, Mike King, and Dakota Ballard serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Herbert Jestice, Larry Fuller, and Brian Hunter.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, OK.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
