— Sharon E. Corser, 61, longtime area resident died at her home on October 21, 2012 with her family by her side.

She was born on May 24, 1951 in Muskogee to her parents Louis and Ethel M. (Rowan) Walters. Sharon grew up and attended school in Ft. Gibson. Upon her graduation she met Darrell Corser and they were married on December 20, 1969. They lived in Wagoner for a time where she worked at the lake before moving to Western Kansas. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, granddaughter Maddyson Ogden, nephew Ronnie A. Bowden, father in-law Jack A. Corser, mother in-law Naomi Browning. She is survived by her husband Darrell W. Corser; daughters Amy Corser and April Corser and her fiancée Chad Bell; granddaughter Ally Ogden; mother Ethel M. Walters; sister Mary Bowden and husband Joe; sister Lois Hancock and husband Doyle; brother Arlan Walters and wife Phyllis and Darrell Walters and wife Kathy; brother in-law Charles Corser; mother in-law JoAnn Corser and many nieces and nephews.
