Glenda Faye Nunley Clemons

1955 - 2012

— Glenda Faye Clemons was born on August 19, 1951, to the parentage of Kathryn Nunley.

She attended Muskogee High School graduating with the class of 1973. Her great love for cooking lead her to work as a dietitian for a local nursing home. The residents and staff loved her charming and witty personality. In 1970 she met her husband, Mr. Larry Don Clemons and to this union six children were born. Glenda’s life journey came to the end on January 29, 2012. She was preceded by her husband, parents, four sisters, Karen, Linda (her twin) Annette, Nanette and one brother, Eric. Those she leaves behind to cherish their fond memories of her include her children, LaTonya (Martraviaon) Price, Christopher Clemons, Larry “Jonthan” Clemons, Emmanuel Clemons, Randy (Dee) Clemons and Brandi (Yukwon) Saverio. Eighteen grandchildren, one uncle, William A. (Elsie) Nunley, two aunts, Edna Majors and Effie Milam. Along with  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The homegoing celebration for Glenda will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 2:00 p.m. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Van Brown officiating. She will rest eternally in Doyle Cemetery.

Visitation hours are today from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Services are under the direction of Ragsdale Funeral Center.
