Clyde Lee Neely

1939 - 2013

— Clyde Lee Neely, longtime Longview, Texas, resident passed away Friday February 1, after a extended illness.

He was employed as a laboratory technologist at Marshall Good Shepherd Hospital from 1992 until his retirement in 2008. Neely was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma in 1939 and graduated from Wagoner High School in 1957. He resided many years in Bowie, Texas, where he was active in school affairs, the Methodist Church, and such organizations as the Boy Scouts and the Jaycees. He was also a forty-year member of American Mensa.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Cook Neely, daughter, Libby Neely, also of Longview, son Richard Andrew Neely, of Burleson, Texas, and sister June Lelli, of Bend, Oregon. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A private Life Celebration is being planned.
