Hayes Ledford Robbins

1929 - 2013

— Hayes Ledford Robbins, 83, of Yukon, OK, passed away on Feb. 27, 2013. He was born on Nov. 12, 1929, to Luther and Helen Robbins in Muskogee, OK. He was a veteran of the Korean War, and worked in the manufacturing and trucking industry. He enjoyed going to the lake and camping, but most of all wood working and spending time with his family.

He was deeply loved. “A gentleman and a scholar and a judge of fine whiskey,” and he will be greatly missed, especially by those whose lives were changed by his example. 

He is survived by his wife, Golda Robbins; three children, Judy and husband Todd, Cathy and husband Edward, Darren and wife Wendy; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sat., Mar. 2, 2013 at the Mustang United Methodist Church, 211 W. Hwy 152, Mustang, OK. A private interment will be held at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK.
