Tommy Junior Morgan

1937 - 2013

— Funeral services for Tommy Junior Morgan, 76, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Fort Gibson Natioanl Cemetery with Bobby Burris officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Patrol and the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Department. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

Tommy was born January 18, 1937 at Muskogee, OK, the son of James and Edith (Neal) Morgan and died Monday, February 25, 2013.

In October of 1955, Tommy joined the navy and served his country four years. Tommy met Brenda Blair in 1962 and they were married on January 26, 1963. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year. For 30 years, Tommy worked at Basolo Auto Parts and then later as security at M.R.M.C. In 1985 he joined the Muskogee County Sheriff’s patrol and was still an honorary member.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; daughter, Lynn Jackson and husband, Robbie, of Muskogee; son, Lee Morgan and wife, Stacy, of Chelsea, OK; sister, Elsie Otis of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Mitchell Wiedel, Rachel Wiedel, Noah Morgan and wife, Sheena, Courtney Morgan, Freddy Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Koulter Bushey and Wyatt Wiedel.
