Myrna Loy Brannon

1936 - 2013

— Funeral services for Myrna Loy Brannon, 76, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 25, 2013 at Lescher-Millsap Chapel in Muskogee, OK, with Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Pallbearers will be Pat Teenor, Dustin Teenor, Alan Foster, Micah Foster, Shawn Threet, and Teddy Fields. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, OK.

Myrna was born September 5, 1936 at Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Ross and Pearl (Smith) Trippard and died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home in Fort Gibson. Myrna was a homemaker the majority of her life, and loved taking care of her family. She worked part-time at Nature's Health Food in Muskogee, a job she loved. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys' fan. On November 13, 1959 she married Chester Brannon. She was a member of Chandler Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Pat Teenor; son-in-law, Teddy Fields; two granddaughters and their spouses, Kendra and Alan Foster, Melanie and Shawn Threet; one grandson, Dustin Teenor; five great-grandchildren, Jamie Fields, Micah Foster, Amber Fields, Kyah Fields, Stormy Threet; one sister, Jeannene Thomas; and niece, Sondra Reeves. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; and two children, Mike Brannon and Niki Fields.
