Donna was the fourth of five children born to Robert E. and Geraldine E. Hays on April 30, 1952. She closed her eyes for the final time and journeyed home to be in peace and harmony with our Lord on February 16, 2012.

Donna’s life and education began in Cyclone, Pennsylvania. At the age of 11, she and her family relocated to Muskogee, Oklahoma with Getty Oil. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School, Muskogee Public Schools and later Bacone School of Nursing. Upon graduation, she was employed at MRMC, Unarco Industries, Acme Engineering, and Muskogee Public Schools as their Registered Nurse.

While pursuing her education she met and married Billy J. Reheard. Because of this union, they were blessed with two wonderful boys, Billy Shawn and Shannon Patrick Reheard.

Donna later married Dan Leon Conley and again was given a gift of another wonderful son, Dan Leon Conley II.

Donna retired from nursing in 2002 to become a full time wife, mother, and grandmother to seven vivacious grandchildren. She truly enjoyed these children right up to the day of her journey home to the Lord.

Donna loved her hobbies of caring for her numerous livestock, yard work, reading and writing poetry, and romping with her grandchildren (inside or outside) in all types of weather. She was so very young at heart – age did not get in her way.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Geraldine E. and Robert E. Hays, as well as a niece, Stacie Linn Bryant.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Shawn Reheard and wife Jani, Shannon Reheard (Marty) of Muskogee, Danny Conley and wife Lacey of Porter, Oklahoma; grandsons, Seth Reheard and Hunter Reheard of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Devon Conley of Porter, Oklahoma, and Justus Buddy Parrott of Muskogee, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Sydni Reheard, Callie Reheard, Ashlyn Reheard, and Skylar Reheard of Muskogee and Lexi Conley of Porter, Oklahoma. Donna’s siblings left to honor her memory are brothers, Robert C. Hays and wife Margaret, Joe Hays and wife Leah all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sisters, Vicki M. Compton and husband James, Bonnie H. Bryant and husband Douglas of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nephews, Douglas S. Bryant (Geri), Clinton W. Bryant, Chris Compton (Crystal) of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nieces, Amber Hays Ziem (Mike), and Ashley Hays of Arkansas, Rabonna Young (Danny) of Denton, Texas, Jenny Rebecca Fuller (Billy) of Arkansas and numerous great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Becky Reheard, Billy J. Reheard, Belinda Garrett, and Floretta Leatherman all of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Timothy Baptist Church with Rev. Kelly Payne officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Douglas S. Bryant, Senjin S. Bryant, Clinton W. Bryant, Leon Mullican, Chris Compton, and Darrin Diles.
