Adrian Jamal Alexander

1987 - 2012

Mr. Adrian "A.J." Alexander, in his 24th year, "finished early" on Monday, October 29, 2012 from his home in Edmond.

On December 13, 1987, Casandra Leeks and Ricky Alexander welcomed a healthy baby boy to the world and they named him Adrian Jamal Alexander.

Born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Adrian was baptized at an early age at St. Mark Baptist Church of Muskogee, Ok. Adrian attended Muskogee Public Schools and graduated from Muskogee High School in May 2006. He continued his education at Connors State College and Northeastern State University.

Lovingly called “AJ”, Adrian was an intelligent young man with a beautiful smile you could see from a mile away. "AJ" loves his family and friends deeply, especially his nieces and nephews. Adrian had a very giving heart and would give you his last dime and the shirt off his back if you needed it.

On October 29, 2012 a little over 8 years after the passing of his big brother and best friend, Anthony D. Scott, God called his angel "AJ" home to unite again for eternity with his big brother.

Adrian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lois Sharp and Arthur Leeks, Sr. and his brother, Anthony Dion Scott.

AJ leaves behind to cherish his sweet memory his parents, Casandra Leeks of Edmond, OK and Ricky Alexander of Lexington, OK; His brother, Curtis Leeks of Tahlequah, OK, sisters DeShawn McCrary and Alisha Alexander both of Edmond, OK; A special cousin that was like a sister, Arnetta Porter of Ft. Smith, AR; A special friend, Shevetta Smith; Best Friends John, Kevin, Rodie, Nick, and Spen; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that loved him dearly.

Service of Memory for "A.J." will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Faith Deliverance Christian Center. Apostle Lathan Archie is the gracious host Pastor and Minister Kenneth Cooper, Officiating.  Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery. You may visit "A.J." as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., on Friday from 10 AM until 6 PM.

Friends may convey condolences and sign the online register at www.biglowfunerals.com.
