— Melissa Jo White, 33, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 with her loving family at her side.  She was born May 18, 1979 in Muskogee to Roger Dale Bull and Elizabeth Jo Munding Bull.  Melissa grew up in Muskogee where she attended school and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1997.  She furthered her education at Northeastern State University graduating in 2001 with her bachelor’s degree.  She worked for the family business, Munding Milling Company.  

Melissa met and later married her best friend, Bart Douglas White on August 18, 2001 in Muskogee. They were blessed with two daughters, Alli and Averi.  Her daughters were her greatest joy. Melissa was very eager in growing her faith and wanted Alli and Averi to know Jesus. She attended Muskogee Church of Christ. Melissa was a kid at heart herself and loved dancing, singing, and cooking with her girls.  She also loved celebrating holidays with her family. Melissa loved kids and kids loved her.  She was very thoughtful and caring to other people in need.  Melissa always had a big smile under any circumstances.  

Melissa was truly loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Matt and Alice Jo Munding; her grandmother, Earldean Bull.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Bart; her daughters, Alli and Averi, all of the home; her father, Roger Bull; her mother, Lisa Bull; her sister, Leslie Bull; her grandfather, Bill Bull; her mother-in-law, Margaret Palmieri and husband Bill; her father-in-law, David White and wife Pam; her grandmother-in- law, Betty Condley; her brothers-in-law, Matt White and wife Brandy, Nick White and wife Brooke, and Cade White; her sister-in-law, Amy Buckmaster and husband Mickey; her special friends, Jamie McSlarrow and Gerald Stinson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

The family requests memorials be made to Kids’ Space, 400 Court St., Muskogee, OK., 74401.

Funeral services for Melissa will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Muskogee Church of Christ with Mr. Kevin Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Gerald Stinson, Mike Hitt, Wes Seabolt, Justin Bartley, Brian Garner, and Steve Gann serving as pallbearers.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
