Ethel M. Howard

1919 - 2013

— Ethel M. Howard, 93, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on December 20, 1919 in Meeker, Oklahoma to William Berry and Lilly Mae (Green) Rowan. Ethel worked many years at Kloss Manufacturing, Stevenson Grocery and Fort Gibson Schools. She was also a long time member of Calvary Faith Church.

Ethel was preceded in death by husbands, Lous Walkers and Everett Howard; daughter, Sharon Corser; grandson, Ronnie Bowden; granddaughters, Charla Walters and Madison Ogden.

She is survived by 2 sons, Arlan & wife, Phyillis Walters of Tulsa and Darrell & wife, Kathy Walters of Ft. Gibson; 2 daughters, Mary & husband, Joe Bowden of Ft. Gibson and Lois & husband, Doyle Hancock of Tulsa; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren; brother, Don Rowan of Ft. Gibson; sister, Ruby Wooten of Prattville; and son-in-law, Darrell Corser of Muskogee.

Viewing will start on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bradley Ft. Gibson Chapel.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., at Calvary Faith Church with Brother Don Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Lonnie Rowan, Alan Scott, Ricky Rowan, Glen Rowan, Jimmy Rowan, and Chad Bell.
