Betty Ann Houston

1928 - 2012

— Betty Ann Houston nee Borovetz , 84,  of Waterloo, IL, was born to the late Joe & Carrie (nee Thornton) Borovetz Jr. on February 8, 1928 in Muskogee, OK. She passed away November 29, 2012, i n St. Louis, MO.

 Visitations will be at Quernheim Funeral Home,  2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday December 2, 2012, 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Quernheim Funeral Home      Waterloo, IL, with Pastor Nancy Spier-Lee officiating. Burial will be at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery Waterloo, IL.

Organizations she belonged to include, Cherokee Nation, Past President Junior Wednesday Club, avid OU Sooner Fan & New York Yankees Fan, lifelong member of First Lutheran Church, Muskogee, OK.

Survivors include her children, Suzanne (Larry) Brown, Shelley Goodman, Jack (Janet) Houston, Sam (Gina) Houston and Lisa May (Jon Schmalenberger), grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Virginia (Joe) Hart. Numerous nephews and cousins.

 Preceded in death by her parents, sons-in-law, Brian Diggs and Alfred "Al" Goodman.

 Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Monroe County.
