Norma Lee Harris (Howe)

1948 - 2012

— Norma Lee Harris, 63 of Muskogee died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Tulsa.

 She was born in Edina, MO on September 26, 1948 to Julian Ray Howe and Bessie Mae Reynolds Howe. She was a foster mother and private home health nurse for many years until she retired. She married the love of her life Jerry D. Harris on July 25, 1998 in Warner. She loved spending time with all of her family.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Harris of the home; her children Kimberly Fenn, Robert Fenn, Rhonda Harris, and many others. 8 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Bessie Howe and her grandson, Derrick Fenn.

Norma was a very strong, loving woman full of life. She was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in September 2011. She remained in good spirits and lived every day to the fullest. She fought a hard battle but never lost hope or faith. She will always be remembered as an amazing wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Her memorial service will be 2pm on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints. 3800 E Hancock Muskogee, OK.
