Beatrice Henry, 92, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012. Bea was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on September 4, 1920, to Joe and Esther Dye. She graduated from McAlester High School in 1939. Bea married George W. Henry on July 5, 1945, and moved to Muskogee with her family in 1957. She retired from federal service at the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee in 1980. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, five sisters, and one brother. She is survived by three sons: Joe W. Henry and wife Jeannene of Rocky Mountain, Oklahoma, James G. Henry and wife Linda of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tracy Henry and wife Angie of Muskogee, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22nd at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, Oklahoma with Bro. Danny Mills officiating.
