In Kansas City Missouri, on January 30th, 1964, a baby girl was born to Roy Sr. and Verla Mack Williams. They named her Lisa.
Lisa received her education in Kansas City, MO, at Mary Harmon Weeks and Van Horn High School. In Tulsa, OK, in 1985, she met and married Mr. Kenneth Edwards. Their union ended with his death. Several years later she met Mr. James Earl Davis and they spent twenty years together. Having no children of her own, she showered everyone else’s children with love and affection.
On December 2nd, 2012, Lisa was called home.
She was preceded home by her parents, one brother, her husband and one sister. The family she leaves to celebrate her life include two sisters, Beverly Pettit (Lewis), Muskogee, OK and Carolyn Williams, Hutchinson, KS. Five brothers, Wenzell Williams, (Lois), Muskogee, OK, Roy, Anthony and Michael Williams all of Kansas City, MO and Ronnie Williams (Mila), Hutchinson, KS and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held Saturday, December 8th, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at the Ragsdale “Chapel of Respect” with Rev. David L. Ragsdale, Jr. officiating. She will rest eternally in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation hours are today from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
