Sharon Elaine Backo

1943 - 2013

Sharon Elaine Backo, 69, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 4, 2013.  She was born February 8, 1943 in Muskogee to John Ruben and Agnes Noland Ruben.  Sharon loved to play pool, go bowling, and play bingo.  She also loved to dance to country and western music.  

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; her daughters, Dianna of Oklahoma City, Debra of Muskogee, Dottie of Southern California, and Marie of Muskogee; her brothers, Kenneth and Carol; her sisters, Marilyn, Shirley, Marie, and Jeanie; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

A memorial service celebrating the life of Sharon will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with her daughter, Dianna Matli officiating.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
