Paulinea Sue Wallis

1960 - 2013





Paulinea Sue Wallis, 52, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma passed at her home Saturday evening.

Paulinea was born October 7, 1960, to Lee and Bernis Dell McElhaney in Tahlequah. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved to Braggs where she grew up and attended the Braggs Public Schools, where she also graduated from high school. She and Robert Wallis were married on April 19, 1982 in Muskogee and made their home in Fort Gibson for almost 31 years. Her hobbies included farming and raising cattle. She was a former member of Ash Street Baptist Church.

Paulinea was preceded in death by her parents.

Paulinea is survived by her husband, Robert of their home; her son, Jeremy Wallis and wife Stephanie of Fort Gibson; two grandsons, Brody Wallis of Muskogee and Ben Johnson of Fort Gibson; her brother, Earnest “Cack” McElhaney of Muskogee and numerous other members of the family.

Memorial services will be 200 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Belltower Chapel of Bradley Funeral Home in Muskogee with Reverend Wendell Cox and Elvin Still officiating. Interment services will be announced at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
