Laura Ann Griffith

1943 - 2013

Laura Ann Griffith, 69, a long time realtor of Muskogee, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013.  

She was born September 21, 1943 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Frank Hubert Harrison and Annette Edward Harrison.  Laura grew up in Muskogee where she attended school. She was a realtor by trade; also being involved in the grocery store business. Laura was known to be a people person, always being involved with the public.  She was also known to be an extremely hard worker, working 2-3 jobs her whole life.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Mary Jane Darrell.

She is survived by her son, Jim Griffith; her daughter, Carla Metcalf both of Siloam Springs, AR.; her superhero and rock, Paul Watkins of Fort Gibson;  her brother, Speedy Harrison of Muskogee; her sisters, Jeannette Lively of Okay and Kathleen McKee of Muskogee; lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended real estate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Whitlock Wishhouse, 1113 N. Country Club Rd., Muskogee, OK., 74403.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Smythe and Marion Graves officiating.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.
