Mildred “Millie” B. Parker

1925 – 2013

— Mildred “Millie” B. Parker, 87, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Muskogee, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Mrs. Parker was born in Alex City, Alabama. She married Loyd Winifred Parker on December 20, 1947. Mrs. Parker retired from Hope Lumber Company in 1985 and was a member of Hillwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Edna Patterson and Nettie Johnson; and brothers, Milton and Lewis Bailey.

Survivors include her son, Thomas L. Parker and wife, Elaine, of Huntsville; grandchildren, Malissa E. Riddle and husband, David, and Thomas W. Parker and wife, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn E. Riddle, Ella Grace Riddle and Nash M. Parker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee.

Memorials may be made to Hillwood Baptist Church, 300 Kohler Rd. SE, Huntsville, AL 35803.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
