David Leon Gough

1946 - 2012

— Funeral services for David Leon Gough will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 26, 2012 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Reverend Justin Voigt officiating. Pallbearers are Chase Kirk, Thomas Kirk, Roger Kirk, Thunder Kirk, Canyon Kirk and David Aich. Burial will be in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.

David Leon Gough was born July 18, 1946 in Cushing, OK, the son of Buster Charles and Opal Mae (Woodson) Gough. He died October 22, 2012 in Muskogee. He married Charlotte Kirk in Miami, OK. David served his country in the United States Navy on the U. S. S. Joseph Strauss during Vietnam and was highly decorated. He was a level 6 quality control inspection supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Gough, father, Buster Charles and mother, Opal Mae Gough.

Survivors include his children, Thomas Edward Kirk and wife, Stefanie, Roger Dale Kirk and wife, Melissa; three sisters, Linda Claver and husband, Joe of Locust Grove, Ok; Brenda Lambeth of Broken Arrow, Ok and Charlotte Johnston of Broken Arrow, OK and their families; five grandchildren, Thunder, Canyon, Chase, Sadie and Talon; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and aunt Vera and uncle Eldon of Collinsville, OK.
