Linda Sue Rainbolt

1959 - 2012

Linda Sue Rainbolt, 53, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012.  She was born February 4, 1959 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Troy Eugene Pierce and Dorothy Beatrice Hubbard Pierce.  She married Carl Eugene Rainbolt on May 28, 1977 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt.  She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Waiting at the gates of Heaven were her grandparents; her parents, Troy and Dorothy Pierce; and her cousins, Jamie Wilson and Deloris Frank.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Eugene Rainbolt; her daughters, Tina Tanner and husband Travis of Muskogee, Melissa Watson and husband Clifton of Claremore, OK., Rebecca Williams of Waco, TX.; her sons, Chad Rainbolt and wife Jennifer, Shane Rainbolt and wife Pamela, all of Muskogee; her grandchildren who were her life, Brian, Kayla, and Emily Tanner, of Muskogee, Brittany Rainbolt of Claremore, Madelyne Rainbolt, Josh and Bradley Rainbolt, all of Muskogee, Collin Williams of Waco, TX.; her brothers, Mike Pierce of Coweta, OK., Terry Pierce and wife Brenda, Herman Pierce and wife Cheryl, Daniel Pierce, and Johnny Pierce and wife Lola, all of Muskogee; her special sister-in-laws, Judy Debose, Debbie Chandler, Cheryl Pierce, and Pat Rainbolt; her two very special aunts, Aunt Velmie of Inola, OK., and Aunt Brenda of Tyler, TX.; numerous nieces and nephews, which she was very close to many of them; and her special friend, Lynda Payne.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Church Central in Muskogee with Bro. Guy Parrish officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Chad Rainbolt, Shane Rainbolt, Brian Tanner, Mark Rainbolt, Danny Pierce, and Billy Rose.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, OK.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
