Stephanie (Fielder) Pearson

1965 - 2012

— Stephanie Elaine Pearson, 47, of Muskogee left this world on October 4, 2012 to enter into the arms of our Lord.

Stephanie was born February 3, 1965 to Walter Fielder, Jr. and Peggy Moore in Fort Riley, Kansas. She graduated from Muskogee High School in 1983. She met the love of her life in Sunday School and after three months of dating they were married at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church. From this union was born two precious daughters, Whitney Elaine and Jessica Ruth.

Stephanie began her professional career as a teller at Victor’s Savings and Loan, Citizens Bank, and Bank of Oklahoma. From there she went to the Police Department in 1998 forming many special friendships. After a few years, she became Chief Rex Eskridge’s secretary.

In her spare time she enjoyed being around her husband, her girls, and family. She was an avid fan of OU football and an even more avid fan of Thunder Basketball especially when her favorite basketball player, James Harden, came on. She never missed a game.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Charles; daughters, Whitney Elaine and Jessica Ruth; mother, Peggy Moore; father, Walter Fielder Jr. and wife, Ellen; sister, Melanie Thayer; brother, Tony Fielder and wife, Jennifer; brother-in-law, John Pearson and wife, Brenda; mother-in-law, Carolyn and husband, David Vaught; father-in-law, Charles Stanley Pearson, SR; nieces and nephews, Cortney and Amanda Berry, Tori and John Pearson JR; Megan and Cody Fielder; two great-nieces, Jayden and McKinleigh Berry; many cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by great-aunt, Pauline Fielder; grandparents, Ida Mae Gordon, Walter and Rachel Fielder; step-father, Charles Moore.

Funeral services for Stephanie will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 8, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Muskogee with Reverend Glen Little officiating. Personal eulogies will be given by Rex Eskridge, Gene Wallace, and Jessica Pearson. Pallbearers will be Billy Delay, Rex Eskridge, Todd Rackley, Johnny Tehee, Steve Mayes, and Chad Farmer. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Wallace, Terry Freeman, Bill Inhoff, Mark Forrest, Larry Foye, Dr. Mike Stratton, Dr. Robert J. Duncan, Bill Boyd, Toby Brantley, Members of the Muskogee Police Department, and members of the Muskogee Sheriff’s Office. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee.

In memory of Stephanie, the family suggests memorial donations to WISH, Women In Safe Homes, or Face Based Therapeutic Community %Mark Seabolt.
