Funeral services for Rachel Anderson, 83, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Gum Springs Cemetery near Webbers Falls, OK, with Reverend Rick Harris officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.
Rachel was born June 30, 1929 at Vian, OK, the daughter of Andrew and Nora Marie (Sanders) Cooper and died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Muskogee. On December 10, 1945 she married Johnny W. Anderson. Rachel was a homemaker and a member of the Old Mission Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Sue Cooper of Fort Gibson, Alice Dugger of Fort Gibson, and Deloris McLelland of Fremont, CA; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, four sisters, and one grandchild.
