FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas reported six NCAA violations involving the men’s basketball program since February 2007, but none were considered major.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Friday that Arkansas had no violations serious enough to cause a player to be barred for an entire season. No names were included in the documents, which the newspaper obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request.
The program has been subject to questions after the school announced star player Patrick Beverley would not play in the coming season. The school would not give a reason, citing student privacy laws.
