Bean dinner to help family after fire

A bean dinner and auction benefiting Michael and Melba Carter will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Odd Fellows Lodge, located south of Wagoner on Oklahoma 16.

Tickets are $5 and dinner will include beans, cornbread, cole slaw and dessert. The Carters recently lost their home to fire and had no insurance.
