Northeastern State University’s Science and Technology Seminar series begins Jan. 30 and continues every other Wednesday. Each seminar starts at 3 p.m. in the Science building, Room 160. Admission is free.
The series schedule and topics are:

Feb. 13 — Methanogens as Model Systems to Understand the Archaea and Beyond,
Feb. 27 — Targeting Cancer Stem Cell Traits for the Treatment of Hepatitis C Virus and Liver Cancer,
March 13 — Calcium Triggers Virulence and Antibiotic Resistance in a Human Pathogen Pseudomonas Aeruginosa.
March 27 — Synthesis of Enaminones by Ruthenium Catalysis.
April 10 — 1-alpha Hydroxyvitamin D5 and Cancer Chemoprevention.
