A city of Muskogee excavator digs through the rubble of a demolished house at F and Callahan streets. The city will raze five more houses between Broadway and Callahan Street and between F and G streets to clear space for a parking lot. Assistant City Attorney Matthew Beese said the parking lot is needed to help curb on-street parking by employees at the VA Regional Call Center. However, parking is open to anyone after 6 p.m.
