• Heard public comments.
• Recognition of support staff members — Creek Elementary secretary Thea Speer and Wade Bennett of the district’s custodial department.
• Recognition of certified staff members — Cherokee Elementary special education teacher Tamara Kinsey and Muskogee High School history teacher Diane Walker.
• Recognition of Jimmie Johnson Foundation Grant recipients and speech and debate tournament winners.
• Board member Muriel Saunders praised MHS Teens for Christ members for serving at Golden Corral when she visited there. She said they are donating tips to the needy.
