A.M. UPDATE: Haskell man dies in Okmulgee County wreck

— A Haskell man was killed after he crashed a pickup in Okmulgee County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

Jesse V. Parker, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene by Okmulgee County Emergency Medical Service, the report states.

According to OHP, the crash happened at approximately 3:20 p.m. Monday on U.S. 266, just west of Arbeka Road. Parker was driving a 2009 Ford F150 pickup westbound when he ran off the right side of the road. The truck continued approximately 179 feet before crashing into a tree. The vehicle was equipped with an airbag, which did deploy. Parker was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
