Former soldier’s rites today at FG cemetery

— A Muskogee man who died Friday and has no known relatives will be buried at 2 p.m. today at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

The American Legion Honor Guard is asking the public, veterans and veteran support groups to attend the funeral in honor of Steven Ray Day, 60.

Day was in the Army as a private first class during 1975-1979. Services are being handled by Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
