Use of force report expected next week

— An investigation into two Muskogee police officers accused of excessive force won’t be complete until next week, officials said.

Two officers were alleged to have used pepper spray and a Taser on a woman shackled to a hospital gurney Nov. 6.

The woman, Christina Boylan, alleges the officers Tased her twice and pepper sprayed her once even though her hands and feet were bound.

The police department is investigating whether the use of non-lethal force by the officers was justified.

Officials said earlier this week the report was expected to be ready Friday. However, an interview with a witness was not completed until Friday.
