A Hulbert woman pleaded guilty in federal court Monday and is awaiting sentencing, according to a media release from the United States Attorney’s Office.
Crystal Linn Butler, 38, pleaded guilty to delay or destruction by mail of a United States Postal Service employee.
The information alleged that between June 1, through Dec. 3, Butler, an employee of the Hulbert Post Office, “did improperly and without authority, delay, destroy and open mail and packages not directed to her.”
Butler will be sentenced upon completion of a presentence report
