At their regular meetings Tuesday, the Muskogee Public Works and Finance Committees:
• Held a public hearing and approved an ordinance rezoning property at 2919 Peak Boulevard, from B Single Family Residential to F-1 Open-Air Highway District.
• Approved an agreement with Muskogee County Rural Water District 9 for the sale of treated water.
• Approved assignment to Bank of Oklahoma of the city's interest in a structure located on the city's property at 301 S. 33rd St., and to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the “Landlord's Release and Consent.”
• Approved a resolution authorizing a program of sponsorship for animals of the City of Muskogee Animal Shelter to allow for donations for the neutering and spaying of shelter animals.
• Agreed to enter into a contract with Paymentus for a bill paying service for utility customers to be able to pay their bill on a secure Internet interface using the City's website or by an interactive telephone voice response system by using credit cards, eCheck and debits.
• Approved low bid to purchase a 2010 Ford Ranger, two-wheel drive pickup in the amount of $12,600 from Stuteville Ford, Tahlequah, for the Revenue Department.
• Approved bid from Pioneer Equipment Rental and Sales of Shawnee for the purchase of a Terex ST-50 tracked crawler-type utility vehicle in the amount of $35,284.59, replacing a 1985 tractor at Greenhill Cemetery.
• Accepted high bid from Travis O'Neal, for $6,975.01 for the Davis Field Grazing lease.
• Approved final payment to BWR in the amount of $6,400 for the pavement evaluation of runway 13/31 at Davis Field Airport.
• Approved payment of the tort claim of Chris McAlister against the City of Muskogee in the amount of $1,267.87 for damages and authorizing the City Attorney to file a friendly suit regarding the same.
• Approved resolution declaring the property located west of 2012 Arline St., as surplus property and authorize the sale of the property to Robert Johnson and Mirtha D. Johnson, in the amount of $163.
• Approved agreement for audit services for FY 2010 with CBEW Professional Group.
