Muskogee Housing Authority gets grant

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced that the Muskogee Housing Authority is the recipient of grant funds totaling $42,436 to continue the Public Housing Family Self-Sufficiency Program.

The program assists eligible public housing residents in reaching the ultimate goal of being completely free of any type of public assistance. Residents who participate in the program receive job search assistance, financial education, home ownership education and other skill development opportunities.
