A Muskogee man died when the bulldozer he was operating overturned, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
Doyal Shrum, 66, was pronounced dead at the scene by Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service, approximately one-half mile east of Porum in Muskogee County.
The accident happened about 3 p.m. Tuesday on private property. Shrum was operating a 1994 Caterpillar bulldozer, when, for an unknown reason, the dozer turned over onto its side, causing Shrum to fall from the seat. Shrum’s condition prior to the accident and the cause of the accident were listed on the trooper’s report as unknown.
