Several local residents have been nominated for the honorary State FFA Degree, Oklahoma FFA’s highest award to recognize outstanding adult support.
The degree recognizes those who have greatly contributed to the advancement of agricultural education and provided outstanding service to their local program, school and community. Recipients will receive the award April 30 during the 87th State FFA Convention at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
• Tahlequah — Randy Davis, Greenleaf Nursery president.
• Wagoner — Rick Bryant, retired teacher.
• Webbers Falls — Bill Shelby, Shelby-Ross Produce farm manager; Steve Shelby, SRS Feed owner.
